The project includes the modernisation of the IP network infrastructure of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, with the aim of increasing the security, resilience and efficiency of communication systems. The implementation encompasses new Cisco network equipment as well as the transformation of the existing network architecture in line with Software Defined (SD) principles.

The new architecture will enable a higher level of automation and orchestration of network processes, simpler infrastructure management, and greater flexibility for future system development. Particular emphasis is placed on cybersecurity, the availability of key services, and the optimised use of network resources.
