This year, nearly 6,500 runners from both the public and private sectors took part, underscoring the growing popularity of this unique event that blends sport, teamwork, and business networking.

Participants ran a 5-kilometre course and received a chip-timed race number, a finisher’s medal, refreshments, and access to the After Run party. The fastest individuals and most successful teams were awarded special recognitions, while the Run&Fun zone offered music, food, and entertainment for all attendees.

KONČAR stood out as one of the event’s most prominent participants – with a large team tent that quickly became a central hub for gathering, socializing, and preparing for the race. With music, refreshments, and protein bars, the atmosphere was vibrant and the sporting spirit palpable throughout the day.

Before the race kicked off, many employees warmed up through various activities such as badminton, table tennis, and bean bag toss, while some even arrived by bike – yet another testament to KONČAR’s everyday commitment to sport and healthy lifestyle.

A special highlight of this year’s event was the B2Run Talk, where our Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Vlatka Kamenić Jagodić, took the stage. In her address, she emphasized how events like B2Run break down barriers between departments, hierarchical levels, and even between companies competing in the same market. "We’re all part of the same story, running side by side, together. Ultimately, events like this not only connect people but also foster a culture that values effort, perseverance, and unity – qualities that are just as important in sport as they are in business."

This year, KONČAR brought together an impressive 300 runners from 13 Group companies. Thanks to their collective effort and dedication, the team secured an excellent 2nd place in the large enterprise category.

With ideal weather conditions and an outstanding atmosphere, this year’s B2Run once again confirmed that unity, energy, and sporting spirit are deeply rooted in KONČAR’s culture.
