KONČAR receives Equal Pay Champion certificate for the second consecutive year

Today, SELECTIO Group, the leading human resources consulting organisation in the region, gathered a distinguished HR community along with fifty HR directors and CEOs to present the third generation of Equal Pay Champion certificates.

Among this year’s 28 companies recognised as leaders in reducing pay gaps is the KONČAR Group, which was formally awarded the certificate at the ceremony. Receiving the Equal Pay Champion certificate for the second consecutive year reaffirms our strong commitment to building a transparent and equitable compensation system that fosters fairness and equality across the organisation.

“Companies that systematically develop an inclusive environment and manage talent without gender bias demonstrate greater resilience, innovation, and long-term success. The Equal Pay Champion certificate focuses precisely on assessing the maturity of HR processes that ensure equal opportunities within an organisation. Certified companies demonstrate – through concrete and measurable indicators – that they address gender balance in a consistent and long-term manner, directly contributing to their value and employer attractiveness,” explained Ema Buković, Senior Consultant and Equal Pay Champion Project Lead at SELECTIO Group.

Damir Sertić, Director of KONČAR’s Human Resources Department, stated: “This certificate represents yet another formal acknowledgment of our dedication to fostering an inclusive environment and ensuring equal opportunities. As one of the domestic pioneers of transparent and socially responsible business practices, we remain committed to setting high standards in corporate governance. Our clear vision of investing in our employees – further substantiated by KONČAR’s leap from 20th to 9th place on MojPosao.hr’s list of most desirable employers – combined with recognitions such as the Equal Pay Champion certificate, motivates us to continue strengthening a transparent, supportive, and inclusive working environment across the entire KONČAR Group.”

Alongside achieving record business results, we are especially proud that initiatives such as this one actively drive meaningful and necessary positive changes within society.
