On 22 April, in more than 190 countries across the globe, numerous activities and events are held, the aim of which is to draw attention to the dangers threatening life on Earth as a result of climate change, global pollution, destruction of ecosystems and endangerment of animal and plant species.

KONČAR has traditionally organized volunteering activities for Earth Day, the objective of which is to clean up our environment, to show how little effort and time is needed for us to improve the environment in which we live and work, and to raise awareness of the need for responsible behaviour. The most diligent KONČAR volunteers have once again joined forces this year and gathered to add more greenery to the factory surroundings at the company’s headquarters, as part of the traditional activity with the slogan Improve our environment. Active volunteers thus used the hours of the afternoon to tackle gardening, planting and landscaping, and the good atmosphere was made even better by the sunny day.

KONČAR looks for ways to reduce harmful effects on the natural environment throughout the year, primarily through responsible behaviour and high quality and safety of its products, but also through other everyday activities undertaken independently or in cooperation with its partners. We are proud that the number of partners at the local and regional levels is increasing every year and that such activities represent a chance for us to contribute to preserving the planet’s natural resources and raising awareness of the need for nature protection among all generations.
