KONČAR – Digital signs framework agreement with the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, valued at 125 million euros
Today, 18 December 2025, KONČAR – Digital, a member of KONČAR Group, signed a framework agreement with the contracting authority, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, for the development and production of anti‑drone protection systems for the period up to 2029.

The procurement, valued at 125 million euros excluding VAT, includes two stationary systems for the protection of military critical infrastructure and two mobile systems. KONČAR will act as the system integrator of the complete solution and as a producer of part of the solution.
The contract is of particular significance for the KONČAR Group as it represents a step forward into the rapidly growing and high‑technology segment of the defence and security industry. The added value of the project also lies in reducing dependence on foreign suppliers, as well as further strengthening the domestic defence industry through the transfer of knowledge and part of the production to Croatia.

In the period ahead, KONČAR is set for an even stronger global expansion with a modern, digitalized portfolio of products, solutions, and services for the energy, industrial, and transport sectors. Alongside internationalization and strengthening our presence in markets such as the U.S. and the Middle East through local operations and new partnerships, we will advance in digital solutions and dual-use technologies. Continued investment in R&D, capacities, talent, and strategic acquisitions will secure robust growth and access to new markets. By developing ICT systems and components for both civil and defense applications, leveraging common architectures and standards, we ensure efficient development, adaptability, and interoperability – without compromising security or regulatory compliance.
