First earthing transformer delievered to Ivory Coast

KONČAR – Distribution and Special Transformers (D&ST) delivered their first special transformers to Ivory Coast. The delivery includes seven earthing transformers designed to withstand and limit the ground current for a period of five seconds.

D&ST has been supplying Ivory Coast with medium power transformers for years. This latest order also includes two autotransformers, each with rated power of 10 MVA.

First earthing transformer for Ivory Coast

The project paves the way for launch of distribution transformers on this rapidly growing market with substantial investments in electrification programs. Special transformers for Ivory Coast opens up the possibility to also place distribution transformers on this market with high economic growth and substantial investments into electrification.
