Continued strong growth in Q2 2025

KONČAR Group has maintained its strong performance in the second quarter of 2025, confirming a steady upward trend across all business segments.

In the first six months of the year, consolidated sales revenue reached €636.8 million, marking a 33% increase compared to the same period last year. Export activities remain a key driver of growth, accounting for 71.5% of total revenue, further reinforcing KONČAR’s global competitiveness and its role as a reliable partner in the energy transition.

The book-to-bill ratio stands at 1.4, while the order backlog has reached a record-high €2.3 billion. Net profit amounted to €129.2 million, up €55.5 million year-over-year. KONČAR Group growth in Q2 2025

The Group continues to focus on its robust investment cycle. CAPEX nearly doubled, reaching €34 million. A series of strategic decisions have been made to expand manufacturing capacities, modernize facilities, and enhance operational efficiency. These investments will also improve workplace safety and conditions, enable the integration of advanced equipment, and support the implementation of lean manufacturing processes – all contributing to KONČAR’s strengthened global competitiveness. Among the key investments is the launch of construction for a new Laboratory for Power Systems and Drives in Bedekovčina. This facility will support testing of cutting-edge power technologies with a focus on the green transition. With its technical specifications, the laboratory will be on par with leading global facilities, significantly contributing to Croatia’s scientific and technological capabilities.

The strongest contribution to the Group’s results came from the power transmission and distribution segment, where KONČAR – Distribution and Special Transformers, KONČAR – Instrument Transformers, and Dalekovod Group companies continue to record steady growth. In the urban mobility segment, several contracts for the delivery of trains and trams are currently underway, including new agreements with HŽ Passenger Transport worth a total of €117.9 million. Digital transformation remains a key development pillar for KONČAR, with continued investments in this area remaining a top priority.

“Despite a challenging macroeconomic environment, we are confident in maintaining our growth trajectory. KONČAR Group will continue to be one of the key pillars of the Croatian economy. Revenues planned for 2025 are already fully secured through existing contracts, while an additional €1.6 billion has been contracted for 2026 and beyond, primarily on international markets,” said MSc. Gordan Kolak, our CEO.
