Our colleague Domagoj Peharda, an IEC TC57 WG13 expert, presented the upcoming major changes in CIM 18, providing an overview of developments that will shape the next phase of CIM.

The presentation covered key enhancements that provide a foundation for the next phase of CIM development, including a new optional root class with a UUID-based identifier, a stable CIM namespace, improved naming model, and new approaches to extending CIM, along with the introduction of the GeographicalLayout package.

KONČAR also presented a software product PowerCIM at a Vendor table.

CIMug Germany was a great opportunity to connect with the community, exchange knowledge, and contribute to the ongoing development of industry standards.
