The role of monitoring systems is to detect potential faults early and prevent significant material and financial losses. Our portfolio includes monitoring systems for primary power equipment such as transformers, rotating machines, switchgear, rail vehicles, and railway infrastructure.

These types of monitoring systems allow for better management of vital components and reliable risk management. The systems enable continuous monitoring of equipment, long-term data storage, and tracking of significant events. To date, we have delivered these systems to 60 countries worldwide.

KONČAR TCMS – Train Control and Management System is our proprietary HW&SW platform for train control and management systems that enables configuration of an optimal embedded computer management system for all types of rail vehicles.

KONČAR TCMS is a modular platform, that is easily adapted to customer-specific requirements and can be simply installed at various rail vehicles, including trams, EMUs, DEMUs and locomotives.

EMS is a is a universal energy metering system that is installed at all rail vehicles. The modular system is easily customized to different types of trains and locomotives.

All components of the system are developed and certified in compliance with the EN 50463 international standard. The device monitors consumed active energy, consumed reactive energy, recuperated active energy, recuperated reactive energy, and GPS location.

For nearly three decades, we have been supporting our customers in addressing challenges arising from electronic embedded control systems. We have successfully developed a range of simple and modular solutions for a wide range of applications and have effectively tackled the problem of electronic component obsolescence through hardware and software compatibility. We specialize in research, development, and professional services in compliance with the functional safety standards – EN 50126/8/9 up to SIL4.

We equip power generation systems leveraging renewable energy sources such as the sun and wind, utilizing hydrogen technology.

Our management system developed on a proprietary HW&SW platform participates in energy balancing of all sources and energy storage, while additionally providing remote communication capabilities. In such modern projects, the goal is for the autonomous power supply system to operate as a closed system, capable of powering devices without GHG emissions.
